Parent Information

Communication
Fenway encourages frequent communication between families and teachers and counselors. Parents and guardians are urged to telephone or email teachers using the directory at the front of the handbook about any concerns.

Parent Council
The Parent Council meets every other month and provides parents with the opportunity to get information on upcoming events, support one another with issues related to parenting, provide the school with feedback on its practices, and support the school through events planning. Parents also serve on the schools governing board. If you are interested, please contact Head of School Peggy Kemp or Associate Head of School Kevin Brill.

Narrative Conferences
Twice a year parents are invited to conference with teachers about student progress. This conference focuses on a written narrative that teachers prepare summarizing the strengths and weakness of the student and suggest strategies to improve their academic achievement.

Open House
Open House, on October 7, is an opportunity for all parents to come and spend a day at school, attending classes with their child, meeting teachers and experiencing Fenway.

Family Night
At the end of the year family and friends celebrate student achievement through a dinner, entertainment and awards at the Museum of Science. This event is a fun time for all and a long tradition at Fenway.
