Collaborations

Learning Partners
Over the years, hundreds of adults have contributed to the education of Fenway students. These "Friends of Fenway" ensure that the school's practices stay up to date with contemporary thinking in the main disciplines - Math, Science and Humanities - and provide "real world" learning experiences for students in all types of work environments.

Mentoring and New Teacher Development

Office of School Development and Partnerships (OSDAP)
The Office of School Development & Partnerships (OSDAP) is responsible for bringing in the resources Fenway needs to thrive as a school - and as a model for other schools.

Project Week
Every Spring, Fenway students explore Boston and the surrounding area through different hands-on projects. Collaborating with local cultural, educational and corporate institutions, Project Week groups have included: "CSI to 911", "Paparazzi: Uncovering the Media", dance and geocaching.

Project Week: Cultural Kitchens Group
Fenway teachers Chad Johnson and Eileen Shakespear and a group of Fenway students teamed up with the nearby Hostelling International to cook the week away. The result? A "Cultural Kitchens Cookbook" with original recipes from Barbados, Dominican Republic, Cape Verde, Puerto Rico, United States, Haiti, St. Lucia and Ireland. Download the cookbook and enjoy!
