School Programs
The Student
Government Association works to give students a voice in the
school.
That's
Real is Fenway's student run newspaper.
Boys to Men meets
each week to support male students at Fenway through discussion of issues
that are specific to young men in our society. This group provides a forum
for students to share their experiences with the objective of helping them
make healthy decisions and process challenges presented to them in a
positive way.
MORE is another
group for young men at Fenway, requiring a higher level of commitment than
the Boys to Men group. MORE stand for Men, Organized, Responsible and
Educated. Individuals participate in this group by invitation only.
Sister 2 Sister
is a group specifically for girls at Fenway to support one another and
learn about issues related to young women in today's society.
MassPEP is a
pre-engineering program open to all interested students. Participants make
a variety of structures and compete with other schools in the area.
Computer
Labs/Library are available to all students after school until 5:30 pm.
The Fitness Room
is available after school for student use when faculty supervision is
available.
The Fenway Sports Program includes has boys' and girls' basketball
teams, boys' track, boys' baseball, and girls' softball. Practice and game
schedules are available from the coach.
The Learning Center is
designed to provide a variety of support for Fenway students. Specific
help is provided in Math, Science, and Humanities, as well as in study
skills, test taking, etc. The Learning Center staff also can provide extra
tutoring and support and is open after school on Monday, Wednesday and
Thursday until 5:00 p.m.
Gay Straight
Alliance (GSA) is an after school group that works to promote
tolerance for Gay and Bisexual individuals and issues.
Math Tutoring/MCAS
Tutoring/SAT Prep are offered throughout the year. More information is
available from the student's Math teacher or Mr. Seider.
